About Artist
Farnaz Nadim is a visual artist working in painting, illustration and surface design. She has a background in Persian traditional art and design and completed her MA in Graphic Design. She started her career teaching at college when her thesis was recognized as the Best Art Thesis by the Iran Academy of Art in 2008.
Over time, Farnaz discovered her passion for illustration and the enchanting world of children’s books while reading to her own children. And after moving to the United States with her husband and two children, she decided to become a full-time artist and illustrator. She joined SCBWI and developed her illustration portfolio. Her recent achievements include:
