Farnaz Nadim is a visual artist and illustrator born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She discovered her love for art when she started oil painting during high school. It led her to Kashan Art School where she learned about Persian art and design. She completed her M.A. in Graphic Design at Tarbiat Modarres University, Tehran. and began her career as an art instructor, when the Iran Academy of Art awarded her M.A. thesis as the best art thesis in 2008.

Farnaz became fascinated by children’s books when read to her kids, and after moving to the United States with her husband and two children she decided to peruse her dream of becoming a full time illustrator. She joined SCBWI, honed her skills, developed her illustration portfolio and is currently working on her debut picture book.
